Full or Part time Receptionist

New Year New Start… Are you looking for a new challenge in 2022?

Do you fancy working in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lakeside Hotel & Spa on the southern shores of Lake Windermere has recently been acquired by Classic Lodges who have exciting plans to invest and develop the hotel. We have 73 luxury bedrooms, 2 rosette restaurant, pool, spa and conference suite all ‘overlooking nothing but the lake’

With this in mind we are looking to grow the front of house team for this exciting project. As one of our Reception team you would be the face of our operation, greeting and managing the guest experience from the front. You will also enjoy an active role within the Sales department dealing with hotel reservations over the phone and by email.

The main responsibilities of the role will include welcoming the guests to the hotel, making their first impressions and experience faultless as well as check-outs and handling of billing queries and monetary transactions.

Previous hotel experience is not essential, but you will need to demonstrate a passion for great customer service and hospitality. This position requires a friendly, organised person with a professional approach, excellent telephone manner, administration and written skills with an eye for detail. Knowledge of Rezlynx would be advantageous, however the candidate will receive comprehensive training and induction.

Working between 3-5 shifts per week over 7 days with flexible hours to suit we offer competitive packages which can include superb self-contained live-in accommodation located just a few miles from the hotel.
